A day in the life
Yesterday I:
1. Woke up from the brightness in my room
2. Washed my clothes by hand and hung them outside to dry
3. Made a pea-soup that I ate with home-made bread
4. Biked an hour to the nearest village to buy groceries
5. Hiked up the mountain behind my house
6. Marveled over the scenery and the fact that I am alive
7. Managed to make it down in one piece
8. Showered, using a bottle of warm water over my head
9. Fell asleep happy
Beautiful pix. Sounds like you have a solid head on your shoulders. Good for you in appreciating the world around you.
Check out my take on what happiness is..

Thank you Lisa Marie for sharing! Happiness comes in many shapes. The trick is to keep your eyes (and mind) open enough to realize when it is there. See you on the bright side!
The mere thought of spending a day like you have, is so comforting and relieving. The photograph too is really comforting to the mind…
Its all about perspectives isn’t and not letting the important moments just pass by but actually take notice of how much greatness there is in a day – no matter what you do!
Thanks for commenting Dev! Hope you are well!
Vackert Helen. Låter fantastiskt och harmoniskt. Massor kramar
Mmm, det är fantastiskt – ungefär varannan dag haha, idag regnar det och är 10 grader. Men vädret är väl inte allt! (Får bara skynda ikapp en solbränna när jag kommer hem hehe)
Kram kram!
Wonderful post! love it. Since I started freelancing I have made time for the simple things in life. Mountains, beaches etc. To spice it up I also sometimes wash a few items by hand or take a bath using a basin of hot water and a cloth (just like Grandma).
Keep the perspective.
Ray?!
Cape Town is all about mountains and beaches! Washing by hand and the grandma cloth I am not as sure about 😉 but whatever makes you happy! 🙂 Good to hear from you. Take care!
