Thank you for your contribution! Im totally pro-Earth Hour!! This post was a just a little rambling I wrote late the next day because we switched to daylight savings time and I was tired! 🙂
Once we stay for long enough out of electricity it is hard to understand why we need so much of it.
(I mean, o.k. a bit of the net and a lot of music but) we are yet again just abusing a gift given to us.
(tell me, is it possible I ever met you around in a gathering or so?
just being curious).
Totally! It is liberating to let go of things! We don’t need much but it all depends on what kind of experience you seek in life.
Take travel for example. If you travel 1st class or budget you still reach your destination, but your experience of the journey will be different. There is an idea in our society that “more expensive” “more comfortable” faster, etc equals “better” but actually budget can be much more life enriching…trains full of chickens and goats, chattering people…yeah you know what I mean.
My point is, our homes should be alive with love, friends and fam, conversations, ideas, humanity, not big screen TV’s and flashing fake plastic stuff.
Gathering? Where would that have been? I don’t think so. You are from Israel right? I have a friend who is from Petah Tiqwa, Hamerkaz. Haim Levy, lives in Cape Town. Any chance you know him haha?!

Peace and Love! 🙂
We’re all in this together and it’s time we start taking responsible action. Earth Hour is awesome. Support it. Totally.
