It’s been a long day
After 12 hours of travelling I am finally approaching my home town. A bumpy car ride to the airport, a lot of time spent waiting, two European flights and a 3,5 hours train delay made this a helluva long day.
My head is full of Italian expressions, flight schedules, memories of the last couple of days, expectations and emotions.
But when I look out and realize that even at 2 in the morning it’s bright outside and knowing that I have so much to look forward to when I wake up in my own bed tomorrow morning, it all feels worth while.
It’s good to be home.
Välkommen tillbaka!
